I founded Hippo Event Hire after discovering how much I enjoyed being part of the events industry. Having worked on a range of large-scale outdoor events across the South West of England, I found the combination of teamwork, energy, and the satisfaction of helping people enjoy their day incredibly rewarding — and it inspired me to create something of my own.
My background began in agriculture, working on farms across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, where I developed a strong work ethic, a hands-on approach, and a genuine enjoyment of meeting clients and solving problems.
After completing a degree in Agricultural Business Management at Newcastle University, I spent time in London working in recruitment, where I gained valuable experience in client service and communication.
Now based in Gloucestershire, I’ve channelled that experience and energy into building Hippo Event Hire — providing luxury toilet hire and self-contained event toilet trailers that combine style, hygiene, and reliability for weddings, festivals, and corporate events across the South West and Thames Valley.
